You know you work for an Internet Company when they officially celebrate “Pi Day” on March 14th. That’s 3/14, or 3.14 in mathematical computer-ish speak.

Don’t feel bad, it took me a second to get it myself. Perhaps that’s because we’re not computer people okay nerds. I didn’t want to say it but you kind of forced my hand.

Below please find the email they sent out on the 14th:

Subject: Happy PI Day!!

Yes, it’s March 14th (aka 3.14), so please come to the fifth floor kitchen for a piece of Southern Sally’s Sweet Apple, Blueberry or Cherry Pie!

This is not a company sponsored event. Please don’t eat pie & drive.

I guess I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth though. At least they offered us a healthy food like pie to counteract the toll that sitting in front of computer screens all day has on our bodies. Many thanks to The Man. You The Man!
